BigHead has introduced a marine version of the range, made exclusively in 316S11 stainless steel, and can now provide a high speed problem-solving fastening method in boat and yacht construction, repair and maintenance. With head sizes of up to 58mm and threadforms up to M12, the fastener's core load-spreading performance offers extreme mechanical strength and very high shear resistance, coupled with maximum corrosion resistance. Key to the company's success is its complex and highly sophisticated welding process, claimed to produce a weld as strong as the fastener's steel.
